My Dear Teachers, Students, and Parents,

A Famous Quote Says, “Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.” - Carl Sagan Education is not just about the subjects learned and taught in school. Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens constantly, not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens at home, between home and school too. Therefore, the home and school’s mission is to provide a learning environment and opportunities for the children as learners. Becoming educated is not restricted to being in school and then in college, gathering certificates and feeling proud of oneself. It is a lifelong exercise that can be unbelievably exciting in every way around.

Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. At St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Rihand Nagar, Sonebhadra, under the Registered Education Society of Allahabad Diocese, we run the School for the National Thermal Power Corporation, Rihand Nagar. We aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong, open, discerning minds and a broad perspective, preparing them to shine in the world as a Light that uncovers the darkness of ignorance and evil of the world.
